Our Competence Unit "LKR Light Metals Technologies Ranshofen" is offering a Master’s thesis position at our location in Ranshofen. As a subsidiary of the AIT Austrian Institute of Technology, LKR is part of the Center for Transport Technologies. The LKR team of around 60 experts is a leader in the development of high-quality light metal alloys, sustainable processing methods, and functionally integrated lightweight components.
As part of our Forming Technologies team, you will support us within the framework of our CondOR-EEE research project, focusing on in-situ electrical conductivity measurements. The project aims to improve the energy efficiency of heat treatments in the aluminum industry through intelligent sensor technology.
