Our Center for Digital Safety & Security located in Vienna invites application for an internship. Our Competence Unit for Cooperative Digital Technologies is leading in applied research on the development of data-based IT solutions for various application scenarios, including the design of new and innovative solutions supporting society, industry and public administration, in increasing their preparedness and sustainability. As a reliable partner of industry and public authorities, we work on digital tools to enable informed decision making and collaboration, based on current research results and in close collaboration with a broad range of stakeholders and end users.
Our Sustainable and Resilience Society team strengthens organisational resilience through cross-sector collaboration, developing tech solutions for data collection, sharing, analysis, and knowledge management. We support decision-making in crisis management and sustainable communities, promoting trusted data exchange and AI-driven tools to enhance planning, response, and resilience to environmental and societal challenges.

What to expect:
AIT participates in the Internship programme for female students of the Austrian Research Promotion Agency (FFG).The Federal Ministry for Innovation, Mobility and Infrastructure supports internships for female students within the FFG funding initiative “Training and Young Talent”. The aim is to encourage young female scientists to pursue careers in applied research in the STEM-related RTI fields (Research, Technology and Innovation) and to increase the proportion of female researchers and engineers in companies.
