Senior Supplier Quality Operations Leader (m/f/d)

This role oversees all Supplier Quality Operations related areas. This includes ensuring the execution of root cause analyses for supplier quality issues and coordinating cost recovery efforts for supplier-caused defects. It also drives continuous process improvement initiatives within the supplier quality team such as those related to the end to end quality case execution process, aiming to enhance supplier performance, reduce financial risks, and increase operational efficiency. This role leads a team of Sourcing Operations and Vendor Recovery Specialists.

Your Responsibiliies:
- Oversee the supplier quality team's timely execution of tasks and support the Supplier Quality Manager in enhancing performance indicators and dashboards
- Prioritize and coordinate quality case execution, ensuring timely completion by monitoring KPIs like cycle time, quality costs, and vendor recovery potential
- Identify and recover costs from supplier failures, coordinating negotiation strategies with suppliers, and understanding contracts and laws
- Work with internal teams and legal to support cost recovery claims and adapt supply agreements for vendor recovery
- Enhance quality case execution and cost recovery processes by identifying bottlenecks and implementing best practices
- Ensure all cost recovery activities comply with organizational policies, procedures, applicable laws, regulations, and supply agreements
Your Profile:
- Technical or business degree, or equivalent skills through relevant training and certifications
- Several years of experience in quality, supply chain, or project management within an international company
- Proficient in supplier evaluation and management, including contract negotiation and cost recovery for supplier defects
- Preferably knowledgeable about INNIO Jenbacher products, business network, programs, and systems
- Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills with a solid understanding of quality assurance principles
- Familiar with process improvement methodologies and risk management principles to ensure compliance and mitigate financial risks.Legal work authorization to work in Austria is required (non-EU-citizens: please attach the authorization form to your application)
The base pay is composed of the amount according to the Austrian collective agreement which is at least EUR 4.673,74 gross per month (x14) and an over payment depending on your qualifications and experience.
