Strengthen our engineering team as senior engineer for product development topics focusing on emissions and exhaust gas aftertreatment. Lead & execute cross-functional projects in the stated area of specialty, ensuring alignment with other functions.

Your Responsibilities:
- Technical Competence, Ownership & Accountability
- Plan, lead and execute development projects and manage their execution to meet project team’s commitments.
- Lead & assist with the analysis & resolution of technical challenges encountered by project teams.
- Effectively communicate and provide recommendations through the analysis, preparation and presentation of technical data to internal and external INNIO customers.
- Participate in the generation of ideas for innovative engine products, systems and technologies and support the generation of INNIO intellectual property.
- Planning and Project Management
- Set up project teams to serve the needs of the business, both from the point of view of correct organizational set-up and skills & experience selection.
- Define work packages and tasks to create impactful products and technologies, support the planning process and analyze skill gaps within the business.
- Collaboration
- Promote an open & communicative environment, both inside and external to the team, to ensure ideas considered equally and with appropriate consideration of all CTQs.
- Eliminate inefficiencies within project teams by use of suitable methods & processes, avoidance of duplication, minimization of work handovers and ownership of tasks.

Your Profile:
- Bachelor or Master of science in mechanical, chemical or process engineering or similar.
- Professional experience in exhaust gas aftertreatment development with substantial experience in new product development and leading cross-functional projects.
- Proficient in engineering tools and methodologies relevant to exhaust gas aftertreatment development, with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong leadership abilities to guide and support project teams
- Very good verbal and written communication skills in English and German, with the ability to present key information to senior management.
- Strong interpersonal skills with team player mentality. Ability to interact smoothly at various levels of the organization.
The base pay is composed of the amount according to the Austrian collective agreement which is at least EUR 4.673,74 gross per month (x 14) and an over payment depending on your qualifications and experience.
