An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Technical Leader in the SW department (f/m/d). In this position, you will be responsible for creating FW test plans and you will maintain the existing FW offers. You will collaborate with the design team and teams in other countries to make impactful decisions aimed at improving the performance of the FW.

Your work field
- In this position, you will plan an automation infrastructure for verification of Schneider Electric products.
- In addition, you will discuss the results from the verification and the validation tests of drives with the design team in order to improve the performance of the FW.
- In close cooperation with teams in other locations, such as France, China, India, and Japan, you will share and implement the best practices.
- As a Technical Leader (f/m/d), you will create a FW test plan for new drives and drive-systems by keeping time schedule and budget.
- The maintenance and the evolution of existing drives and FW offers and the support of existing SW testbenches are important tasks of your scope.
- As an expert in your field, you will improve costs and productivity on each iteration to optimize the testing process.
- Finally, you will use the technical know-how and be proactive in team knowledge transfer.

About you
- The ideal candidate has completed a bachelor’s degree or a master’s degree within the field of electrical engineering, mechatronics, electrical drives, machines, or a related field.
- You have already gained experience with frequency converters and electrical machines.
- Experience with automatic testing and cyber security would be advantageous.
- Underlying this ability is a solid knowledge in Labview, Testcomplete, HIL testsystems, PLCs and you have knowledge about the methods of V&V.
- You have basic skills on real-time embedded and integrated communication bus architectures.
- As you will be working in an international environment, fluent German and very good English language skills are essential.
- We are looking for a candidate with strong communicational, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work on several projects.
- You are a highly motivated team player who is customer oriented and tests critically our weakness of the SW before commercialization.
The salary range for this position is above the collective agreement and, depending on training, qualifications and professional experience, will start from 60.000 Euros gross annually.
