Imagine
  • The research field Dependable Systems Engineering (DSE) focuses on studying and developing methodologies, tools and standards for increasing, verifying and validating the dependability of software and systems – during conception, development, certification and operation.
  • As part of our multidisciplinary, multinational and highly motivated team, you will focus on implementing in code the new methods envisioned by the team.
  • As cybersecurity is a core part of our research field, you will learn about security by design concept on the job.
Engage
  • As part of the development team, you will be responsible for the front-end and back-end development of "THREATGET", the new cyber security management system for the automotive sector, which helps developers to identify threats at an early stage and to quickly assess the associated risks.
  • You are responsible for communicating with the customers and product manager, prioritize requirements and envision an architecture to implement new features.
  • As you will be implementing scientific solutions in software, you have the opportunity to contribute to scientific publications.
  • Additionally, you will supervise interns and students, who are also part of the project teams.
Achieve
  • You will have the opportunity to interact with research and industrial partners on the national and European level and develop concepts, specifications, and procedures for an innovative software solution.
  • You share and discuss your technical knowledge and creative ideas with your team colleagues and external partners.
  • You position yourself in national and international networks and develop collaborations on scientific publications.
Your qualification as an Ingenious Partner:
  • Master’s degree in Computer Science / Mathematics
  • Good programming skills in either Angular, TypeScript / Java-Script, Java or C# with the willingness to learn the others
  • Understanding of REST APIs
  • Basic Database Knowledge (SQL)
  • Hands-on mentality and enthusiasm for creating sustainable technical solutions and implementing them in practice
  • High commitment and ability to cooperate in multidisciplinary and diverse teams
  • Excellent English skills, German knowledge is a plus

What to expect:
The minimum gross annual salary according to the collective agreement is EUR 49.532,--. The actual salary will be determined individually, based on your qualifications and experience.
