What are my responsibilities?
As Sales Manager in the Service & Modernization business, you will drive customer success and business growth in Metallurgical Services.
- Identify and acquire new service and modernization projects by understanding customer needs and aligning them with our solutions.
- Develop and sustain long-term relationships with key clients, acting as a trusted advisor.
- Manage an existing customer portfolio while actively expanding market presence through strategic new customer development.
- Design and execute a targeted sales strategy, leveraging CRM tools to drive transparency, forecasting accuracy and continuous growth.
- Monitor market trends, competitive dynamics and customer requirements to optimize sales volume, product mix and pricing.
- Achieve ambitious sales targets in terms of volume, profitability and portfolio quality.
What do I need to qualify for this job?
- Bachelor's degree in commercial and/or technical fields such as mechanics or mechatronics.
- Experience or strong interest in the metals industry and/or after-sales service.
- Three to five years of sales experience in a B2B environment.
- Willingness to travel up to 50 percent or more.
- Business-fluent English skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- CRM experience in opportunity management and forecasting.
- Analytical skills to identify trends and business potential.
- Proven success in developing sales strategies.
- Confident contract negotiation skills.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
What else do I need to know?
The minimum annual gross salary for this position under the collective agreement and assuming that all requirements are met is 53,241.02 Euro (F/00) or 62,243.30 Euro (G/00). This could rise considerably depending on qualifications and experience.
