Responsibilities
- Planning and implementation of large scale experiments in the Hydraulic Engineering Laboratory including scientific, experimental and measuring design.
- Scientific investigations in the field of sediment transport and river morphology, hydraulic engineering.
- Publication of the findings in international scientific journals and presentation at national and international conferences.
- Processing and analyzing experimental data.
Required skills and qualifications
- Diploma degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Physics or other equivalent university degree.
- Very good English language skills.
- Basic knowledge and experience in planning and implementing hydraulic scale models.
- Strong desire to conduct hands-on experimental research in a cutting edge research facility, BOKU River Lab.
Desirable skills and qualifications
- Background in environmental and hydraulic engineering.
- Basic knowledge of sediment transport processes and river morphology.
- Basic knowledge in measurement and test engineering.
- Programming skills and experience in data analysis.
- Strong interest to earn a PhD degree.
