EBNER is one of the world’s leading suppliers of heat treatment systems for the metal industry. We aim to build and expand our expertise in computational engineering, generative design, and additive manufacturing in order to, for example, develop the next generation of energy-efficient high-temperature impellers for industrial furnace systems.
To strengthen our technology team, we are looking for a dedicated specialist who can integrate physical modeling, software development, and modern manufacturing technologies.
What you can expect at our company & how you can impress us:
TASKS
- Development and refinement of computational engineering models (CEM)
- Implementation of physical models for: fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, turbomachinery, and material behavior
- Programming of parametric and generative geometry models
- Development of algorithms for automated geometry generation
- Conducting and evaluating CFD and FEM analyses
- Optimization of components/systems with regard to: energy efficiency, strength, manufacturability, and cost
PROFILE
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (TU/FH) in Mechanical Engineering, Computational Engineering, Mechatronics, or a comparable field
- Solid knowledge of fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, and strength of materials
- Experience with numerical simulations (CFD/FEM) – ANSYS
- Experience with parametric design and CAD systems
- Programming skills in C#, Python, MATLAB, etc.
- Basic knowledge of additive manufacturing is a plus
- Good command of German and English (Level B2)

We would like to emphasize that the advertised salary corresponds to the minimum basic salary under the collective agreement, but this is only the lower limit. The minimum salary under the collective agreement (Metalworking Industry) is € 53,241 gross per year on a full-time basis. Depending on your qualifications and professional experience, we naturally offer an attractive salary above this minimum.
