Senior MRP Controller & Inventory Manager (m/f/d)

ANDRITZ Pumps is a leading manufacturer of centrifugal pumps with a broad, competitive product and application portfolio and global manufacturing and sales presence. Our main manufacturing locations are found in Austria, China, India, and Brazil. We develop, manufacture, and distribute pumps that are engineered and built for a single project as well as standard pumps that are based on a modular system.  

To fulfil our demanding delivery time goals for the European and African Market, we carry a significant stock of parts in Graz, that are used both for Service and Assembly of new Pumps.

In our Pumps Division in Graz, we are looking for a Senior MRP Controller and Inventory Manager (m/f/d)

You will be responsible for operative stock management and stock management strategy for centrifugal pumps as well as active management of net working capital.

Your Tasks

You will be responsible for the entire material planning process and material availability. As part of ongoing demand planning, you review the demand and inventory status of the planned materials, make any necessary adjustments, and ensure the availability of materials for the production process.

• Responsibility for maintaining the material master data (MRP) relevant for scheduling and planning requisitions to ensure optimal supply for assembly
• Interface with purchasing, plant, quality department, internal production facilities, suppliers, etc.
• Creating and releasing requirements
• Creating planning and releasing order requisitions 
• Check material availability in the course of scheduling 
• Model management for casting models 
• Continuous monitoring of inventory turnover time and active management of stock value based on the monitoring 

Are You Our Ideal Candidate?

• Completed commercial or technical training (HAS, HAK, HTL), university degree advantageous.
• Professional Background in requisition planning and execution essential. This includes especially the theory, practical application and handling in IT Systems of:
  • SAP operative expert user
  • ABC XYZ Analysis
  • Disposition Parameters including Safety Stock, Reorder Point, Optimal Reorder Quantity
  • Understanding of complex bill of materials with multi-level structure and variances
• Knowledge of pumps and the pump industry would be preferred, or of comparable products
• Enthusiasm for technical contexts
• Proficient MS Office skills (especially MS Excel)
• Languages: proficient German and English
• Strong teamwork and (intercultural) communication skills

In Austria we are legally obliged to announce at least a gross monthly salary of € 3.802,93 for this position.
Depending on qualifications and professional experience we offer you a market-based salary.
