Your Mission

• Manage and support the full development lifecycle of customer-specific mechanical products from proposal preparation, concept development, design, simulation and analysis through prototype assembly, testing and final delivery.
• Develop mechanical systems for mechanical ground support equipment, such as transport containers, handling tools and lifting devices, and space applications including satellite mechanisms.
• Create 3D concepts and perform preliminary sizing and design in accordance with customer specifications.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional specialists in design, analysis, assembly and testing throughout all project phases.
• Maintain direct communication with customers during development projects.
• Review technical drawings and bills of materials prior to release for manufacturing.
• Coordinate and support suppliers and external manufacturing partners.
• Plan, execute and support acceptance and qualification testing.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation in English.

Your Story

• 3+ years of experience in product development or mechanical design.
• Strong technical background with a degree in Mechanical Engineering or a comparable qualification.
• Solid understanding of engineering principles and structured, goal-oriented working style.
• Experience with 3D CAD systems; knowledge of FEM and analysis tools is an advantage.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in interdisciplinary and international teams.
• Hands-on personality who enjoys practical work and is actively involved in day-to-day operations.
• High level of initiative, organizational skills and customer orientation.
• Willingness to take responsibility and manage tasks independently.

The minimum gross salary for this position according to the collective agreement is EUR 4040 per month. The actual compensation is based on qualifications and experience and will exceed the collective agreement minimum.
