Senior Business Central Developer / ERP Product Engineer

At AMEX Healthcare, we are bringing Microsoft Business Central in-house and are looking for a senior developer who wants ownership, impact and purpose - not just tickets.

You will play a key role in shaping the backbone of our company - the ERP system that supports life-saving projects across the globe.

Your job responsibilities

• Take technical ownership of our Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central system
• Design, develop and maintain AL extensions with a strong focus on upgradeability and performance
• Gradually take over responsibilities from an external development agency with structured handover and knowledge transfer included
• Translate complex business processes in sales, operations, quality and finance into clean ERP solutions
• Challenge unnecessary customizations and protect the long-term health of the system
• Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders in product, sales, operations and management
• Improve documentation, code quality, testing and release processes
• Act as a technical sparring partner for product and management decisions

What we expect from you

• Strong experience developing with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and AL language
• Deep understanding of ERP concepts: suppliers, customers, items, projects, posting routines, permissions and performance
• Experience with extensions, event subscribers, upgrades and integrations
• A pragmatic mindset and understanding when not to customize
• High standards for code quality, documentation and maintainability
• Ability to work independently and take responsibility end-to-end
• Clear and structured communication with technical trade-offs for non-technical stakeholders
• Persistence, curiosity and motivation to learn
• Experience working in-house is a strong plus
