Test Automation Engineer (all genders)

From air traffic control to critical infrastructures, our systems must perform flawlessly when it counts most. PDTS is part of the Frequentis Group - an independent team of around 100 experts in Vienna, combining international projects with clear decisions and a stable environment.
Key Tasks
- Independent design and development of manual and automated tests based on product requirements
- Implementation of automated tests and test specifications in Java
- Creation of test plans and execution of exploratory tests for key software features
- Continuous testing alongside development of Java (Spring) and JavaScript (Vanilla, React) software components
- Integration of test suites into the delivery pipeline and further development of the test tool landscape
Key Qualifications
- Completed technical education (HTL, University of Applied Sciences, or University)
- Initial professional experience in testing and verification of complex projects or product developments
- Programming skills in Java and JavaScript
- Basic knowledge of container technologies such as Docker
- Experience with software development tools such as Git, Jenkins, Maven, Jira is an advantage
- Knowledge of BDD frameworks such as Selenium, Cucumber, Jasmine is desirable
- Familiarity with operating systems, preferably Linux, is an advantage
- ISTQB certification is a plus
