As a Dynamics AX Developer at Husky Technologies, you'll work hands-on across our Microsoft Dynamics AX platform and supporting enterprise applications, developing and enhancing solutions that help enable reliable and efficient business operations across our global organization.
You'll be responsible for delivering high-quality software solutions using Microsoft Dynamics AX, X++, SQL Server, .NET, and related technologies, while supporting the ongoing evolution, stability, and maintainability of our business-critical systems.
This role is ideal for an experienced developer who enjoys solving complex technical problems, working with enterprise systems, and delivering reliable software solutions, while contributing to a globally distributed development team.

·Design, develop, customize, and maintain Microsoft Dynamics AX applications and supporting enterprise solutions.
·Understand and implement solutions based on approved requirements and technical designs.
·Own assigned implementations at the component, module, and feature levels.
·Ensure correctness, performance, security, and maintainability of delivered solutions.
·Make sound technical decisions within the assigned scope, escalating broader design concerns when necessary.
·Translate approved business requirements and technical specifications into working software solutions.
·Break down assigned features and development activities into actionable tasks.
·Provide reliable effort estimates for assigned backlog items.
·Deliver high-quality software increments aligned with agreed priorities and sprint goals.
·Proactively identify and resolve technical issues within assigned scope.
·Write code that is reliable, readable, and maintainable, and follow the team’s agreed standards and best practices.
·Develop and maintain appropriate technical documentation.
·Participate in meaningful peer code reviews.

·Troubleshoot and resolve complex defects and production issues.
·Investigate recurring issues, contribute to root cause analysis, and implement sustainable fixes.

•Collaborate closely with Tech Leads, Architects, Product Owners, QA, and Platform teams.
•Support and mentor junior and mid-level developers.

·Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or related field.
·5+ years of professional experience in software development.
·Strong hands-on experience developing, customizing, and maintaining Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3 applications using X++, MorphX, and Application Object Tree (AOT).
·Experience with SQL Server databases, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), and SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS).
·Experience with Dynamics AX integration technologies, including Application Integration Framework (AIF), Data Import and Export Framework (DIXF), WCF, and SOAP/XML web services.
·Experience with .NET interoperability and C# for integration with other enterprise applications.
·Experience using Team Foundation Server (TFS) and/or Azure DevOps for work management, source control, and deployment activities.
·Experience in requirements analysis, technical specifications, and effort estimation.
·Strong understanding of software development lifecycle practices.
·Experience with clean code principles, unit testing, and code reviews, with familiarity with test-driven development practices.
·Familiarity with source control, branching strategies, CI/CD pipelines, and related DevOps practices.
·Working knowledge of Agile/Scrum development practices.
·Ability to work independently, manage assigned responsibilities, and adapt to changing priorities.
·Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
·Fluency in English, both spoken and written.
·Ability and willingness to work full-time on a late afternoon shift, with mandatory overlap with the global teams.
