Student Traineeship

Student Traineeship is for students who want to gain long-term practical experience alongside their studies.

• Objective: complement theoretical studies through supportive tasks in AVL's daily business and project work
• Areas of work: technical and commercial in Engineering, Measurement & Test Systems, and Simulation Solutions
• Time frame: part-time employment, up to 20 hours/week, minimum one year
• Application period: ongoing
• Requirements: actively pursued studies in the greater Graz area and positive academic performance

Mandatory Internship

Mandatory Internship is for students who must complete an internship as part of their curriculum.

• Objective: gain practical experience according to curriculum requirements and supportive tasks in AVL's daily business and project work
• Areas of work: technical and commercial in Engineering, Measurement & Test Systems, and Simulation Solutions
• Time frame: up to six months, usually full-time, 38.5 hours/week
• Application period: ongoing
• Requirements: mandatory internship required by the curriculum, actively pursued studies and positive academic performance

The gross monthly salary for 38.5 hours is based on the collective agreement for salaried employees in the automotive industry. The actual salary will be determined depending on training, qualifications, experience, future job and working hours.
