Senior IFRS Accountant (m/f/d) (m/f/d)
Key Responsibilities
- Take responsibility for the preparation of IFRS financial statements and support the preparation of the consolidated financial statements of the Kommunalkredit Group
- Responsible for the preparation and review of FINREP, including the execution and documentation of data quality checks, validations and reconciliations
- Analyze and resolve complex IFRS accounting topics and provide guidance on accounting matters
- Contribute to strategic projects as part of the Bank's digitalization and transformation initiatives
- Act as a key contact for external auditors and internal stakeholders on accounting-related matters
- Work closely with cross-functional teams involved in infrastructure and energy transactions to ensure the appropriate accounting treatment of complex transactions
Requirements
- Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or a related field, or equivalent professional experience in a comparable role
- Several years of relevant professional experience, ideally gained within a bank, audit firm, or consulting environment
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, ideally including at least three years of practical experience with IFRS 9
- Strong IT affinity with advanced Microsoft Excel skills; SAP knowledge is considered an advantage
- Highly motivated, detail-oriented and analytical, with a structured and solution-driven approach to work
- Excellent communication skills in both German and English
In accordance with the Collective Agreement for Employees in Banks and Bankers, we guarantee remuneration that aligns with market standards and is tailored to your experience and qualifications. For this position, the gross annual salary starts at EUR 75.000,--.
